In the
Old Testament there are 7 Hebrew words translated " Trust " which
itself occurs 155 times.
" Trust" is the New Testament word means " Believe "
I have Two Questions for you.
Number 1. Do you trust in Christ ?
Number 2 Does Christ trust in you ?
What does the word " Trust " mean ?
* A firm belief in the honesty,
* The responsibility of resulting from confidence placed in one.
* Something entrusted to one
* To allow to do something without misgiving
* Entrusted to another's care
* Agree, Belief, Hope, Obey.
What does the word " Believe " mean
* To take as truth or true
* To have confidence in a statement or promise
* To assume
* To have faith in
* Number 1. So what does it mean for you to trust in Christ
Trusting in Christ means that you're not relying upon yourself, but on Christ
to get you into Heaven with God in good standing . Man cant save himself, We
cannot get to heaven by doing good deeds, Our deeds shows our love to others,
and this makes God's day to see were doing right in the site of Father.
Rather, we need to be forgiven of all our sins, realizing that Christ paid for
our sins. And what He did for us on the Cross is the only way to have our sin's
forgiven. Ever time you mess up ( Sin ) ask Christ to forgive you, and
to cleansed your mind. and never bring it up again to him. Once its blotted
out of the book.
Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the
forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
After someone trusts in Christ for the forgiveness of their sins, A new life
begins. If anyone is in Christ, he/she is a new creation; the old has
gone, the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17) The person becomes a follower of
Christ. As a follower of Christ, a person relies upon Christ in other areas of
their life, not just for forgiveness of sin.
We must learn thru him,what
is pleasing to him and his Father
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:
old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Christ said that He is the Teacher (John 13:13-14). He told His disciples that
He would send the Holy Spirit to them, and that the Holy Spirit would teach them
all things (John 14:26) and guide them into all truth (John 16:13). God teaches
a person His ways and His truth. In terms of our values and our behavior, He
cleans out the evil, in our thinking that's not right, and shows us from His
perspective what is correct. This is another way in which God loves us. He is
the One who knows all truth, and He wants us to build our lives on His truth and
not man's
John13:13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
John13:14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also
ought to wash one another's feet.
John14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will
send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your
remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide
you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall
hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Who's Words are we to listen to ? Who are we to trust ?
John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye
continue in my word , then are ye my disciples indeed;
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
* Number 2. Does Christ trust in you ?
Most preachers will tell you to trust Jesus. He is the Savior. The Bible also
says that Christ on His part, was not entrusting Himself to them, for He knew
all men" (John 2:24-25 ). In other words, there were certain people whom Christ
could not trust. Why ? He knew them before the foundation of this earth
age. Either they didn't have the courage or faith or they didn't love him or his
Father
John 2:24 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all
men,
John 2:25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what
was in man.
Christ knows what is in the hearts of men, women, young people, and children.
For from within, out of the heart ( mind ) of men, (Mark 7:21-22).
Mark 7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts,
adulteries, fornications, murders,
Mark 7:22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an
evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
Christ did not trust this particular group of people for good reason. When they
did get their hands on him, they murdered Him. If you don't understand Christ
allowed himself to be murdered for two reasons.
# 1 None of the children could not save themselves from God's wrath, He took up on himself ( Volunteer ) to do what we couldn't do, for no person was worthy to be saved. But he accounts us worthy as we look to him for repentance, thru him, because of what he did for all of us. All Bible Prophecy must come to pass, as it was written
# 2 Christ went to the Cross, so that he could destroy death, which is satan.
Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between
thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Seed here is Sperma or Sperms ( Children ) Christ heels was nailed to the
cross .But in the end Christ will destroy him.
( Bruise thy head ) understand satan was given a death sentence there. For he
could never repent of anything back to God.
Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and
blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he
might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
As we read They turned Him over to the Roman governor and cried out with one
voice, "Crucify Him, Crucify Him!" (Mark 15:13-14).
Mark 15:13 And they cried out again, Crucify him.
Mark 15:14 Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? And
they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him.
You see, The real problem these people had was a heart problem. Their hearts
were filled with hatred. ( There mind ) The root problem we all have today is a
heart problem. Our hearts are not right with God. We are filled with envy and
pride. Be honest! Isn’t this the case? And so can
Christ really trust us ?
If your really seeking for Christ's forgiveness, He will show you the Father's
will. And if your playing church, forget it. There will be no sin in
heaven .all sins must be forgiving here, in the flesh thru the blood of the
Lord.
Many peoples pray and baptize for the dead, when there flesh body is in the grave.
Not understanding that the flesh goes back to the grown where it came from. This
flesh body will never be used ever again. And No, there is no soul sleep in the
dead body in the grown, There is no graves flying open, so the saint can join Christ at his return. Did
you ever stop and think, When Christ return at the 7th trump the
saints comes with him, from where ? Where ever the thrown of God is, so is the
Full Godhead.
So where ever heaven is, the saints are all ready there with God. they are
already in there Spiritual body. To be absent from the body (Flesh) is to be
present with the Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst
we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
2corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be
absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
2Corinthians 5:9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we
may be accepted of him.
2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of
Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to
that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
